About the meeting
The European Coordinators Meeting is a meeting of FSFE's most important community people all over Europe. This includes but is not limited to all official coordinators. The aim of the ECM is to get in contact with each other, to see what is happening inside our community, what we like to be and achieve, where we can help each other or join forces. Therefore the ECM is able to make decisions for the overall community and FSFE's Fellowship.
Expectations:
- active participation in discussions
- motivation to take over tasks during and beyond the coordinators meeting
- bring ideas and inspire

Accomodation
FSFE pay for the location and the catering during our meeting on Saturday & Sunday, however accommodation should be paid on your own. If you look for financial help for your accommodation, please contact eal@fsfe.org It will maybe not be possible that we all stay at the same place. Essen is a quite expensive city to stay, so I have two recommendations for you and the maybe-possibility to stay at a local Fellows-place. If you look for that, again, please ask eal@fsfe.org

From the FSFE to you
Saturday
From the vision to action (Workshop, Erik Albers): (~2 hours) Charitiy associations that like to change society often face problems to decide where to begin, what methods to use or to keep the big picture in mind of what activities brings us where. I like to show a method in that we start with the goal to achieve and go from there to see all steps that are involved on the way to achieve this goal. Expect a short theory, followed by brainstorming in tiny discussion rounds and a sum up all together in the end.
The whole exercise should sharpen our feeling towards FSFE's Fellowship, align expectations and prepare for the strategy-session in the afternoon.
A roadmap for FSFE's Fellowship (Discussion, Strategy and decisions | Moderator to be announced) (~3 hours)
FSFE is in need of a roadmap that includes strategies and goals for FSFE's community in a whole as well as FSFE's Fellowship in particular. Decisions have to be taken and backened by the community. Please prepare by reading the document and expect some heated debates under circumstances : )
Sunday
Campaigns: Campaigns are a way to organise communities and common activities. Talking about FSFE's campaigns: Which campaigns do you like most or less? Are there campaigns we should stop? Or are there campaigns that we are missing?
From you to you
Dynamics in fellowship groups/meetings/public relations: Lessons learned? (proposed by Peter Bubestinger) I'd be very interested in exchanging experiences how to deal with difficult group dynamics. For example: How to break up with people who cause problems or are socially difficult? Exchanging ideas about growing and maintaining mixed groups from different backgrounds. e.g. Techies, non-techies, guys/girls, age-gaps, etc. (proposed by Peter Bubestinger)
Public appearance: "Corporate identity" for people somewhat representing FSFE in public? This applies to Fellows, too since public audience might not distinguish between FSFE-members and Fellows. (proposed by Peter Bubestinger)
Booth workshops: Do's and Dont's, best-practices, etc (proposed by Peter Bubestinger)
Ask your Candidates all over Europe (eal)
