FSFE Potteries / KPA Clubhouse
The KPA Clubhouse is a bar and communal space on the Keele University campus. It is ran by the Keele Postgraduate Association (KPA) which is a charity and union for postgraduate students, but the public is most welcome at their clubhouse venue. We often use this place for socials and with larger events we'll book the upstairs room of this venue where there is plenty of comfortable seating and enough space for 35 people.
As it's a bar it obviously serves drinks, but it also has its own kitchen which closes at 8pm (see further down this page for information). There is also a website for the venue which is here... https://www.kpa.org.uk/the-clubhouse
Note: This information on this page is accurate as of 16/01/2024 with photos and menus being provided directly by the venue.
Directions
π The KPA Clubhouse, 97 Horwood Road, Keele University, Keele, Staffordshire, ST5 5DY, United Kingdom.
π Latitude: 53.00137 Longitude: -2.26971
π Use the university's visitor parking which is free in the evenings and weekends as seen on this map.
π If you're coming from Stoke-on-Trent or Newcastle-under-Lyme then youβll want the number 25 operated by First or if youβre coming from Cheshire you'll want the 85 operated by D&G.
πͺ If you've found what looks to be a large students union named KeeleSU, then you're in the wrong place! The KPA Clubhouse is around the back of those buildings and it's building number 9 on this campus map. If you can't find us downstairs then don't worry about looking for us upstairs (the stairs are in the middle opposite the bar) as it's all open for anyone to walk around.
Photos
It's useful to know what the venue looks like ahead of time, particularly so you know you've arrived at the right place!

Food and drink
As most socials begin around 6:30pm onwards, the availability of food and drink means people don't need to worry about returning home after work to eat before coming back out again.
We've received a food menu (including vegan and gluten friendly options) from the venue and we've converted it into a PDF that you can download below...
