How-to pages explain how to do a given task. Usually, this means a step-by-step tutorial or something similar. Examples for how-to pages:
- Technical descriptions (e.g. "how to add a wiki category")
- Task descriptions (e.g. "how to run a successful booth")
A how-to is normally not the same as a documentation page. A documentation page focuses on the what, a how-to focuses on the how. A how-to is often written as a step-by-step guide.
