This page lists all currently active services and their help pages.

All services are accessible using your FSFE username and password. If you don't have an account already, you can look at KnowHow/FSFELife/VolunteerAccountCreation for information on how to get one.

IRC
The FSFE is using Freenode for our IRC communication and most of the activity takes place in the #fsfe channel. Other channels may be created on the fly and be called things like #fsfe-newcampaign and so on, as it's needed, but in general, there's not enough talk in #fsfe that having any kind of related discussion there would cause a problem in most cases. We have a group registration with Freenode, which means we're responsible for all channels with #fsfe-* names as well as cloaks of the form @fsfe/<name>.

The current administrator for the group registration, and the one who communicates with Freenode staff about changes is jonas (@fsfe.org, of course).

If you want to have an FSFE cloak enabled for your Freenode name, please send a mail to contact (a) fsfe.org. In order to have an FSFE cloak, you must: (a) have your name registered with NickServ (see the Freenode knowledge base for information), and (b) have an account on the FSFE's systems (meaning you're either a volunteer, fellow or staff). Please see this Wiki page about volunteer accounts and how to create one.

All cloaks are generally of the format "fsfe/<username>" where the username is your username in the FSFE's systems. Current staff can be identified by the cloak "fsfe/staff/<username>".

Wiki
If you are new to the wiki, be sure to have a look at TechDocs/Wiki.

If you want to help improving it, you can join the WikiCaretakers team.

Ticket system
Our Ticket System is our life line! It helps us keep track of incoming requests as well as other tasks that are ongoing.
For more information, see the FellowshipServices/TicketSystem.

Blogs
Information about using the Fellowship blog platform (and about blogs in the old
Fellowship portal) is contained in the TechDocs/Blogs page.

Blog Aggregation: Planet
The Fellowship Planet aggregates many Fellowship blogs in a single blog.

To add your blog to the planet, see the instructions contained in the Blogs page.

Mail forwarding
For each Fellow, mail to `USERNAME@fsfe.org` is automatically forwarded to the specified primary e-mail address; we also support sub-addressing using the "+" separator: so anything sent to `USERNAME+foo@fsfe.org` will be forwarded to `realname+foo@realdomain`.

You can change your target e-mail address from your account maintenance page.

To send e-mails from your @fsfe.org alias, please use FSFE's SMTP server. The necessary settings can be found here.

Please note that the maximum allowed size for messages is 25 MiB (this is the same limit imposed by many ISPs).

Mailing Lists
In addition to using our permanent fellowship mailing lists,
you can create and manage temporary mailing lists using our quickml service.

XMPP instant messaging
We have a public XMPP (formerly known as "jabber") server for instant messaging.

You can find more about it on the TechDocs/XMPP page.

Subversion
We have a subversion server, that can host Fellowship related projects (software projects or web projects, like pdfreaders.org or the static Fellowship pages).

You can find more info about it on the TechDocs/Subversion page.

Git
We have a Git server with a nice web interface, that can host Fellowship related projects.

You can find more information about it on the TechDocs/Git page.

Account maintenance
You can view and change settings related to your Fellowship account (and related services) through the account maintenance page.
