Status
The Wiki theme module now uses specific translations. Translators should copy EnglishDict and translate the human-readable text for their own languages, using a suitable page name as described on the HelpOnLanguages page (in the Built-in vs. user-specified translations section).

Subtasks
This is a list of subtasks to do for the completion of the task.
Decide for/against translations
- Solicit translations from native speakers (if translations are desired)
Incorporate translations into the MoinMoin translation dictionaries The dictionary pages are probably sufficient
Notes
Some discussion on the list indicated that translations probably aren't necessary, but if they are desirable, we could use this page to collect them in the tables above.
According to http://moinmo.in/HelpOnLanguages it is possible to define user-specified dictionaries, even beyond the navibar, meaning that it wouldn't be necessary to change the built-in dictionaries in MoinMoin.i18n. Brief testing seems to indicate that provided an EnglishDict page defined translations, there would be English defaults even for people whose browsers are not set up to accept English as a preferred language - this would prevent people seeing the specific, cryptic keys to the dictionary (such as ABOUT_PAGE).

Log
Have tested user-specified dictionaries as mentioned in the notes above. pboddie proposes that we use this approach and see if it works for everyone.
