On Friday, September 26, the system hackers team discovered a misconfiguration in the wiki setup. The error, if discovered, would have enabled an unauthorised party to read protected pages and user configurations.

It was possible to read the encrypted password hashes of guest users. Registered Fellows, who log in using their Fellowship password were not affected by this. To all others we recommend changing their wiki password as a precaution.

Howdy! My name is Mark P. Lindhout.

I’m a front end developer and web designer from Berlin. Originally, I'm from The Netherlands, so I also speak Dutch :) I love to build pretty, solid web sites that can be accessed by humans and robots alike. And for this I use open source software and my 14+ years experience in the field.

I developed the “Pome” theme for the FSFE Fellowship Blogs. (If you want to join me in development, please do, it still needs a lot of work!)

You can see the theme in action on my Fellowship blog at http://blogs.fsfe.org/marklindhout/
