On Friday, September 26, the system hackers team discovered a misconfiguration in the wiki setup. The error, if discovered, would have enabled an unauthorised party to read protected pages and user configurations.

It was possible to read the encrypted password hashes of guest users. Registered Fellows, who log in using their Fellowship password were not affected by this. To all others we recommend changing their wiki password as a precaution.

I'm an active fellow of the Viennese fellowship team since December 2010.

I'm helping with English to German translations and as a designer. Unfortunately I have limited spare time, but I do what I can and spread the word in other circles as well. Since I'm active in different movements such as animal rights, veganism and other groups for sustainable new ways I can present free software in workshops to audiences without prior knowledge of the issue...

One of my basic ideas is, that in order to advocate freedom on computers we need to establish a support network for private people who do not even want to learn more about computers, but who might be interested in the issue of independence from big corporations.
