The FSFE with an assembly at the Chaos Communication Camp 2019-08-21 2019-08-25 The FSFE will be present with an assembly and an information booth at the Chaos Communication Camp 2019 in Mildenberg, Germany. The FSFE assembly will be part of the about:freedom village and is hosted for and by our members, friends and supporters to offer a common space to discuss, meet, hack and organise. Chaos Computer Club Camp 2019-08-21 2019-08-25 This meeting, like a festival, is an open-air gathering for hackers and members of the Chaos Computer Club (CCC). There are a variety of events catered for by CCC, and attendees are invited to pitch up their tent. The five-day-event intends to create exchange of ideas and knowledge for the hacker community. GNOME Users and Developers European Conference 2019-08-23 2019-08-28 This conference brings developers and users together, in order to discuss and present on topics about GNOME. The event has a focus on Free Software and the people from around Europe and beyond, who look to benefit from Free Software solutions. The FSFE with a booth at Rotlintstraßenfest in Frankfurt am Main 2019-08-24 2019-08-24 The FSFE's local group in Rhein/Main will participate at the "Rotlintstraßenfest" in Frankfurt am Main with an info-booth. We have stickers and flyers available and our ambition is to bring awareness about the Free Software to non-techy audience and excite them about the use and benefits of the Free Software. The FSFE's information stall at Veganmania in Donauinsel in Vienna, Austria 2019-08-24 2019-08-25 The Veganmania summer street festivals in Austria are well known and thousands of people are visiting them each year. This is the second Veganmania for this year. Its on the Danube island directly at the city center which is a well known and beloved recreation area. In previous years the festival gave us the opportunity to introduce many people to the Free Software and its philosophical background, as well as give practical advices on how to get and use it. These festivals have been proven to give us much more outreach than any of the Linux weeks events that would normally be the environment for such stalls. Wuthering Bytes 2019-08-30 2019-08-30 This all-day festival features a variety of activities and talks on the topic of software, hardware, science, and design technology. Linux Plumbers Conference 2019-09-09 2019-09-11 This conference is for plumbing-basis system analysis and knowledge exchange with regard to the Linux Kernel. Linux Kernel Maintainer Summit 2019-09-12 2019-09-12 The Linux Kernel Maintainer Summit is a gathering for bringing together the core kernel developer elite, in order to discuss the development cycle for the Linux Kernel. BalCCon 2019 2019-09-13 2019-09-15 The 7th Balkan Computer Congress is a gathering for communities to join together in socialising, hacking, playing, learning, and for exchanging knowledge and experience.
