Bookzilla / libri.de

Bookzilla.de is a frontend made by the German based company freiheit.com for the Libri bookshop. You can order from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. If you are already buying online and use libri.de for this, you could switch to bookzilla. For each sold book on bookzilla 5% go to freiheit.com as a commission. Bookzilla donates 100% of the provision to us.

Amazon.(ca|com|co.uk|de|fr)

Please be aware of the controversies surrounding Amazon, especially regarding Amazon's position on software patents. Richard Stallman also keeps track of reasons why not to buy on amazon. Nevertheless we provide an extension for GNU Icecat, Iceweasel, and Firefox you may install directly, or by using your system's package management as described below. If this is installed, Amazon gives us around 5% provision for each sale. FSFE uses this money to work for Free Software,to oppose software patents in Europe, and [[http://drm.info|Digital Restriction Management].

Amazon's terms of use clarify that we have to provide this exact wording on our website:

• Install this extension:

  • Install extension directly

  • For Fedora based systems use the system's package management, the package is called mozilla-affiliatefox-fsfe.

  • For Debian based systems download xul-ext-affiliatefox-fsfe.deb and install it as root -- or with sudo -- via "dpkg -i xul-ext-affiliatefox-fsfe.deb"

• If you view a product on amazon.* you will see an fsfe reference id in the URL.
• If you buy something with the reference id in the URL FSFE receive about 5% percentage

Userscript

There is a userscript available here. By using it, you take part in all of the aforementioned programs (you do not need the other plugin).

It works on most browsers(Chromium, Chrome, Firefox, Iceweasel tested):

• Chrome, Chromium, Opera: no extras needed, just click install!

• Firefox, Iceweasel (and other Mozilla-based): Greasemonkey-Plugin required

• Gnome Web / Epiphany: Greasemonkey-Extension contained in most setups, if not install "extensions" package

• Safari and other WebKit-Applications on MacOSX: GreaseKit-Plugin required
